The Golden Hex story began with a California family's passion for honey. What started as sharing their love with friends and family soon blossomed into a thriving business, crafting not just the finest raw honey but also pollen, propolis, beeswax candies, natural cosmetics and soaps.

Upon relocating to North Carolina, we decided to share our love for another kind of sweetness: the vibrant flavors of Europe and the Mediterranean. Our first Cary store, located near Thomas Bond Park, quickly became a haven for those seeking authentic groceries, specialty items and, of course, our beloved North Carolina honey.

Now Golden Hex has relocated to a new, spacious building at the intersection of 1200 NW Maynard Rd and High House Rd. This move allows us to better serve the Triangle community and offer an even wider selection. Our expanded deli section features cold meats, cheeses, fish, and even red and black caviar. Grab a hot meal or a quick bite from our Hot & Cold Bar. There are plenty of choices for vegetarians too.

You will find everything you loved about Golden Hex from the beginning, and a lot more: groceries from France, Italy, Greece, Poland, Hungary, the Balkans, the Baltic states and the former Soviet Union. Products from over sixty countries are now represented, and we constantly add more. We also offer home goods, gifts and souvenirs.
