About Golden Hex
A family of beekeepers, a hexagon of the honeycomb, and a market with food from over 60 countries.
Our story
A family of beekeepers started in California. They sold raw honey, pollen, propolis, beeswax candies, natural cosmetics and soap to customers in the Bay Area and Los Angeles.
After the move to North Carolina, the family opened a specialty store. It still sells Golden Hex honey, now made in North Carolina.
In 2024 the store moved and expanded, becoming the largest European small-business family-owned market in NC.

The team
Golden Hex is run by two brothers, Arthur and Erik. They were born in Armenia, spent summers in Ukraine and Russia, and lived in Israel.
Arthur has lived in the US since 1997. He is a Realtor licensed in North Carolina, a software programmer and a father of two. Erik is a mechanical engineer and a father of two.
